Hello:

Does any body knows if there is any study in the use of EECP in treatment of Lymphedema secondary to radiotherapy of breast cancer, to improve circulation and also reduce lymphedema?

Thank you,

Hi Dr. Robledo:

I am not aware of any studies involving EECP therapy for use in treating lymphedema. Perhaps in China, but I have not been able to track down any published papers.

Hello,

To update all; We are recruiting 10 leg lymphadema patients and have protocol to treat. Will keep you updated along the way.

The renal failure results look very promising and are still on schedule to release results in late June.

All in all, data looks promising. The hope is to obtain new FDA indications for external counterpulsation. Of course this will involve alot of hard work and be dependent on the FDA.
